As a result of the collaboration between the Consellería de Sanidade of the Xunta de Galicia and the UNDERISK research group at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, a network of prevention professionals has been established across the entire territory of Galicia. This network is trained to deliver the Construyendo Salud programme.
By the end of the 2025–2026 academic year, trained prevention professionals are in 38 municipalities and organisations that collaborate with the Department of Health in the implementation of addiction prevention programmes. The ultimate goal of this initiative is for the Construyendo Salud programme to be implemented during the 2026–2027 academic year in the Secondary Education Schools (IES) of the participating localities.
